how it all began...

After graduating from law school at university I set my sights upon a career in commercial law but as is so often the case life takes us in another direction. For me that was Japan where a one month holiday turned into a ten year stay.

During that time I developed a love for Japanese fine cakes and cookies, particularly their presentation and exquisite detail, which became the inspiration for this business.

After returning home to start a family I found there was a demand for something more than the standard 'gingerbread man cookie with 3 buttons' that was on offer. I set about creating something fun and stylish that would appeal to both children and their parents.

The response was overwhelming - people had never seen anything like them! They tasted great and the children got as much enjoyment out of playing with them as finally eating them. With the support of family and friends Creative Cookie Company was born.
